Her Story
Growing up in Russia, Katya first learned the healing power of plants from her mother and grandmother — beauty potions and folk medicine made from native herbs and botanicals.
As a teen in New York she developed severe cystic acne, and spent nearly a decade searching for answers before turning back to those roots. Finding nothing on the market that was truly natural and gentle enough, she became a formulator, product designer, and certified aromatherapist, training in western herbalism and natural perfumery. That work became Malaya Organics in 2014.
More recently Katya became a licensed aesthetician, certified in the Helena Pahava Manual Facelift™ Method.
Her path led further inward — to yoga, meditation, Buddhism, shamanic medicine, and healing white light transmission. She is a certified Reiki Master specializing in Kundalini lifeforce energy activation. Those practices now shape her hands-on work as much as her formulas: restorative, plant-rooted, and attentive to the whole person.
